Why does the logo feature two English Electric Lightning F6?
It is the first all British designed aircraft to pass MACH-2 in level flight.
It is a single seater (and The Speed of Sound reannimation-project is largely single handed).
Its life span covers 1954-1989 - the entirity of The Cold War (post Korean War to the Fall-of-The-Wall in Berlin) as well as this being from the birth of modern popular music to The Blood Oranges EP release.
It is a giant shining sports car of an aircraft:
It is INCREDIBLY LOUD
For more information on the Lightning (a very cool piece of kit indeed) and a vast photo gallery have a look at the Lightning Preservation Group they own and maintain two Lightnings but are unable to fly them because they are still faster than anything the RAF has now, so the Civil Aviation Authority will not allow them on the civil register. (No one could catch them.)
