A statement on live music:

The excitement of performing and also of hearing live music is a special thing.

Over the years we have played and also hugely enjoyed an awful lot of gigs.

However, the world has changed and multiple factors including (but not limited to) the pandemic, the UK leaving the EU, the current world (and especially British) economic conditions/prospects all combine to largely make independent gigs no longer viable.

You will have seen multiple 'mainstream' music acts cancelling tours due to spiralling costs and stress levels, indicating that for them Live Performance has become a drain on resources, time and creativity.

An unremitting treadmill.

We recognise that situation. In order to survive life must adapt to change.

Therefore, while not ruling out any possible future performances, we are not currently actively seeking to play live.

This decision will allow us to concentrate on creating new music and allow us to do so in the best possible studio conditions. Creating an album takes a huge amount of time and effort not to mention money - as does live performance - and we simply can no longer do both, if there is a choice between the two it has to be recording because that is where the full artistic expression is. The fleeting ephemeral joy of live performance has to be secondary to that. If/when the situation changes we will adapt to that, but this is the reality of where we are now.

We WILL be back out there when the time is right, until then it is studio and thereby on to the airwaves for us.
