Yep, we have some news coming up; we have been very busy. Major announcement next week. Before then, we've a bit of catching up to do: The gig at Wigan on 20th September was a lot of fun, thanks to everyone that came to see us instead of the rugby and thanks to Nikos Pavlou for the live stills from the night.

Live with Bone Box and a borrowed drummer

it was a Fab gig with Bone Box on Saturday, as their frontman Jay Taylor said "we had a blast". Great sound from KingsArms again and MASSIVE Thanks to Jonathan French of The Electric Stars for sitting in on drums for us while we're looking for a new drummer. He did a superb job.

New Solar Year

We were still playing at midnight at Mono so could welcome in the new solar year properly, thanks to all the venues we've played over the last year, to all the bands and artists that have shared the stage with and thanks to everyone that came out to see us in 2014, bought a 7" single, or CD, or download, or badge-set, or watched a video or listened online. 2015 has some really cool stuff happening and we're really looking forward to it. Happy New Year.

It felt good to be back at Night And Day on Thursday for Owen's first gig with us, even if he was barely visible hidden behind the wall of amplifiers.

Return to Night And Day

We are live at Night And Day again on 16 October

its our first gig with Owen our new drummer. Its a great venue and a constant supporter of independent bands. Its good to know Night And Day survived the licence renewal after the bizarre single complaint about noise (why would you get a flat above a live music venue?) Anyway. Five bands for a fiver.

We did a short walk up set at The Blue Cat in Heaton Moor on 6th October, (Setlist was - Checkered Land, Girl On The Roof, Love, There's No One There) but this will be Owen's first actual gig at proper (or improper) volume with us.

Scootfest 2014

Over 350 scooters made their way to Scootfest today, it was buzzing with energy as Rossendale '60's festival came to a close for this year.
We shared the stage with Lost Legions, The Getsettes and The Transmitters. A cool gig.

The new venue was Haslingden Cricket Club and they added to the atmosphere by having a game on in the afternoon.

Scootfest 2014

Our next gig is Scootfest, which has a new venue this year - its at Haslingden Cricket Club.

We're doing a full-size 75 minute, 17 song set. which means to fit the other bands in we're starting the proceedings off so get there early. We're on from 10:30 in the morning.

Live again for the bank holiday weekend, we're playing an unsigned night at The Roadhouse Manchester, we're 4th on at 21:25, it might get noisy.
 
We'll have a few copies of the single with us if you fancy, if you can't make it there its still available by post on Bandcamp and the digital issue is everywhere you'd expect it to be, nab one.

It was pretty hot, I couldn't read the set list because my eyes were full of sweat, we missed out Checkered Land and did it out of sequence at the end instead. Felt good though. I've not seen a picture with Pete in yet but you can see his knee and elbow in this one.

The Repeat Offenders high octane delivery and their third gig in thirty hours having played Pretty Green and Liverpool Calling the day before.


Millie Manders perfect pop a real entertainer, give her a crowd and she will make them hers. Her first gig in Manchester for a year and endured a five hour journey to do it.


The Getsettes great harmonies with a 60's vibe, it was going to be an acoustic set anyway, but became a duet when their bass player got food poisoning the day before. Craig on the right is normally their drummer.

Anticipation

We should have had The Swiines as well  but their travel plans got scuppered at the last moment and they couldn't get over from Nottingham. Another time.

Rock And Roll Lounge DJ'd before and after the sets, superb venue Thanks Fringe and Thanks Kings Arms.
